Seed & Pot
The Seed & Pot settings allow you to define the jackpot's fund structure for each level of the jackpot. The settings you configure here will apply to each level of the jackpot template.
Level Settings (applies to each level)
Each level in the jackpot template has its own seed and pot configuration, allowing you to customise the jackpot structure for different levels.
1. Reseed Strategy
- What it is: After the jackpot has been won the strategy you select will determine how the prize pool replenishes.
- How to use: Select a reseed strategy from the dropdown menu to apply after the jackpot has been won. You can determine a different strategy for each level, if desired. Choose the option that best aligns with your promotion goals.
| Reseed Strategy | Description | Example |
| Fixed Seed | All jackpots start at the specified fixed seed amount. | Jackpot starts at €5,000. When it’s won, the next jackpot also starts at €5,000. |
| Fixed Seed then Reserve Only | The jackpot begins with the specified seed amount and a reserve pot builds up in the background by collecting a percentage of each spin. When the jackpot has been won, the reserve pot becomes the seed for the next jackpot and this process repeats after every jackpot win. | Jackpot starts at €5,000. A reserve builds to €1,200. When it’s won, the next jackpot starts at €1,200, not €5,000. |
| Fixed + Reserve | The jackpot's prize pool is determined by adding the fixed seed amount to the reserve pot balance at the time of the win. | Seed is €5,000. Reserve has €2,000 when the jackpot is hit. The next jackpot starts at €7,000 (€5,000 + €2,000). |
| Initial Seed with Fixed Reseed | The fixed seed amount is used for the first jackpot and the fixed reseed amount is used for any subsequent jackpots. | Initial seed is €10,000, so the first jackpot starts at €10,000. When it’s won, the fixed reseed amount of €3,000 is used, so the next jackpot starts at €3,000. Every jackpot after that also starts at €3,000. |
| Fixed Seed + Reserve Top-Up | The jackpot's main pool starts with the seed amount. Subsequent jackpots will begin with the fixed reseed amount, plus the additional amount in the reserve pot at the time of the win. | Jackpot starts at €5,000. Reserve builds to €1,500. When it’s won, the next jackpot starts at €6,500 (€5,000 + €1,500). |
| Reserve with Minimum Seed | After the initial jackpot has been won the next one will start at the specified minimum seed amount. However, if the reserve pot is greater than the minimum seed amount the jackpot will start at that amount instead. | Minimum seed is €2,000. Reserve has €3,500 at the win, so the next jackpot starts at €3,500. If the reserve had only €1,200, the next jackpot would start at €2,000 instead. |
2. Auto Reseed
- What it is: A toggle that determines whether the jackpot will automatically reseed after being won.
- How to use: Turn this toggle ON to enable automatic reseeding, or leave it OFF to manually reseed the jackpot.
3. Reseed Amount
- What it is: The amount the next jackpot prize pool should start at.
- How to use: Enter the amount you want to add to the jackpot each time reseeding happens. This amount will replenish the jackpot according to the reseed strategy selected.
4. Seed Amount
- What it is: The initial amount of money in the jackpot at the beginning of the promotion.
- How to use: Enter the initial seed amount for the jackpot level. This is the base fund that participants will be playing for.
5. Contribution Percentage
- What it is: The percentage of each participant's bet that will contribute to the jackpot pool.
- How to use: Enter the percentage (e.g., 5%) that will be contributed to the jackpot fund from each bet placed. This helps determine how much the jackpot grows over time.
Note: Contribution percentage impacts how quickly a jackpot grows. Faster growth may influence how close the final win amount is to the configured drop range. See the Drop section below for more details.
